He lost his mother year after, started his primary education at age 8 in 1978 at Erin-Ile, kwara state and street begging same year due to financial constraint. He finished his primary school in 1993 and came to Lagos, begged for alms, slept under the bridge at Idumota, managed to complete his secondary education by attending evening classes. In 2007, he gained admission to study political science in UNILAG and graduated in 2010. That same year, he sat for JAMB and gained admission to study law at the University of Lagos, finished in 2015, proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, passed all his papers at his first sitting and was called to Nigerian Bar in 2016.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila in his former capacity as the House Majority Leader discovered Abdulsalam Kamaldeen in 2017 and invited him to the floor of the House for Special Recognition.
Today, by the special Grace of God, Abdulsalam Idowu Kamaldeen, a practicing lawyer, from Kwara State, is the newly appointed Special Assistant on Special Needs/Equal Opportunities, to the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, (Nigeria) Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila.
