It’s no more news that  the cynosure of last week governorship primary election in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye lost. The election that was conducted amidst turbulence was eventually won by Engr. Musa Wada.

However, the camp of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has reportedly gone into a panic mode as the aggrieved Senator Dino Melaye, who lost out in the last PDP governorship primaries in the state has promised to work for the party’s candidate, Engr. Musa Wada.,

It should be recalled that Wada paid a surprise visit to Melaye just days after the primary in his Abuja residence on his way to collect his Certificate of Return and there we gathered it was sealed and agreement was reached that they will work hand in hand.

Though earlier before then, Melaye who came fourth with 70 votes to Wada’s 748 votes in the primary election held on September 3, 2019 had  rejected Wada’s victory but both has since reconciled, an insider revealed as Melaye promised to work for the party’s victory in the November 16th governorship election, if alone to unseat Yahaya Bello, his political arch rival.

Meanwhile, the Bello camp, we gathered, is not leaving anything to chance as his loyalists were already meeting to further strategize for victory.
