A Nigerian has died of corona virus. The victim, a 64 year old Yoruba man was resident in Italy.
His corpse was discovered in his house in Modena on Wednesday, 11th of march morning.
According to a local newspaper, “Modena Oggi” when autopsy was carried out on his body, he tested positive to the dreadful virus.
To date, the victim is the first African victim of the rampaging disease which broke out from Whuan, China last January.
However, Reported illnesses have it ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure; Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath.
Cases of COVID-19 have been reported in a growing number of countries, including the U.S. Public health groups, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are monitoring the situation and posting updates on their websites. These groups have also issued recommendations for preventing and treating the illness.
