Unbelievable: D’banj Ignores COVID-19 Pandemic, Complains About Losing Shows

2 min read

Fans are beginning to react to what popular singer, D’banj posted on his Twitter handle concerning the ongoing lockdown. When many of Nigerians are busy with different discussions over the unexpected ‘holiday’ saying government makes no provision for them since the breakout of CONVID-19 which led to the unexpected lockdown, D’banj seems to have his mind somewhere else, his pocket I think. Just recently he wrote an emotional piece on his Instagram glorifying God about his present situation despite the challenges he had over the death of his son. D’banj wrote:

He wrote; “For the first time in 21 months, I slept in my room. I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh and although my family and I have been through so much in this time, I woke up this morning with a grateful heart knowing that I can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic or any personal issue.. Just know that tomorrow will be better and you can turn your pain into motivation. Stay strong.”

It’s now a surprise reading his tweets about how the epidemic of Corona virus will affect Creative Industry as the 14 days lockdown will disturb the industry from getting shows when people are dying here and there and others are running helter-skelter over Coronavirus, all D’banj could complain about is shows, It beats one hollow to hear such from a celebrity and a popular one.
