The Association Of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN) has announced slight increase in the price of bread in Lagos State, Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement made available to the press by the Chairman of Lagos State Chapter of the Association, Amb. Raji Omotunde on Tuesday.
He revealed the new cost will commence between two to three weeks time.
He noted that the increament in the price of bread became necessary due to the rising cost of baking materials.
He revealed further that ”they feel the pains of their numerous consumers, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic and believe the Almighty God will see us through” .
He however advised everyone to obey the additional 14 days stay at home order by President Muhammadu Buhari, of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
Ambassador Raji, a brand ambassador of Mama Gold Flour, who is contesting for the Deputy President of the Association in the forthcoming AMBCN election in Abuja, assures members if elected, of restructuring, building a befitting National Secretariat for the Association, transparency and accountability.
