Read Wema Bank’s Provoking Reply To Rema For Changing Its Name To Rema Bank

Popular Nigerian singer ,Divine Ikubor who is known professionally as Rema, might have incurred the wrath of one of Nigeria leading first generation bank, Wema Bank to have changed the name to Rema Bank on his social media handle.

The act which the artiste might have seen as a mere joke didn’t go down well with the management of the bank.

On his social media handle, the Dumebi crooner removed the letter ‘W’ in Wema Bank and replaced it with letter ‘R’ to make it looks like Rema Bank.

On its social media handle management of Wema Bank however replied the artiste with a thoughtful advise. They wrote:

“That W took us 75yrs to build. Keep dropping those bangers and you too can be twice as tall. Down for a tour?

Rema as an artiste signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
