NCDC Records 999 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded nine hundred and ninety-nine (999)new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The new cases were confirmed in a post on the agency Twitter handle on Tuesday night.

The new cases of COVID-19 reported by the NCDC bring Nigeria’s total confirmed cases to 79,789, with 68,879 patients discharged.

The country has also recorded 1,231 deaths from the deadly virus.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory having the highest number of cases followed by Lagos State.
