It’s a celebration of life for Mr.Adebo Ayoola Akanji Adelere popularly known as Àlàgà who will be hosting friends and well wishers as he celebrates 70th birthday.
Born in Ile-Aperin on the 10th of May 1951 to Mr S.O and Mrs Ajitoni Adebo in Obisesàn’s compound, ile aperin Ibadan.
Alaga Attended ICC ELEKURO S4. He proceeded to Loyola college. On relocating to Lagos, he continued his education at College of Education Ijanikin for his Teachers training.
Studied English/Yoruba (Linguistics) for his B.edu and served in 1983 at Gwagwalada, Garki Abuja.
He also studied Yoruba and Communication Arts at Lagos State University (LASU)
He worked with THE Guardian Newspaper as a columnist in 1989.
NTA channel 7, with the likes of Late Bayo Olaleye, Otunba Lekan Ajirotutu, Funmi Wakama to mention a few.
He was a co founder with the then news paper KEDERE! He ran sports documentaries for many outlets CHICKEN GEORGE and doubled as an M.C for many occasions.
He Started his Teaching career in is early years at IJESHA BOYS SECONDARY SCHOOL, SANYA GRAMMAR SCHOOL before he retired at Government college Eric moore, in 2015.
It’s going to be a convergence of who is who as friends and colleagues from his previous places of work will be celebrating with him at his Akesan- Igando’s home.
