Tinubu Promises To Tackle Criminal Activities In FCT

– President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

As criminal activities keep increasing in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and environs, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has begun to look into the security situation in the city and in states bordering the territory.

After a closed-door meeting with the President yesterday, Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, reviewed the security challenges springing up in his state when Tinubu asked him to update him on the security situation in his state, which provide home to a large number of Nigerians working in the FCT.

According to Sule, most of the criminal activities going on in his state were being perpetrated by elements targeting the FCT for their activities. “First and foremost, I think Mr President was interested in knowing some of the security challenges we have in the state.

The state is always an area where some of these few security challenges come up because a lot of these bandits and kidnappers always target Abuja, they think that’s where the money is.”
