Olori Olufaki Fetes 60 Aged People, Doles Out Palliatives As She Adds Another Year

Wife of Olufaki of Ifaki, Olori Olubunmi Adeola Falore rolled out drums recently to celebrate another remarkable birthday. This year, it’s not only about the usual item number 7 that is peculiar to birthday celebration. Kindhearted Olori Olubunmi took her time to dole out palliatives to widows and aged people in the community.
Local drummers and other merry makers also joined the family of the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, Oba John Adegbenro Falore, on Monday to celebrate with the Olori.
In her speech, Olori Falore after the normal ritual of cutting the cake, Olori expressed her gratitude to God for sparing her life to witness the birthday in good health.
“I decided to celebrate with my people to make them feel loved and appreciated by the royal household,” she remarked.
Cash gifts and foodstuffs were distributed to 60 beneficiaries as palliatives to cushion the effects of the removal of the petrol subsidy for the aged people.
The event was attended by the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, Oba John Adegbenro Falore; Wife of the Chairman Ekiti Traditional Council,Eyeshorun Nagozi Ilori Faboro; Chairman, Vice-Chairman and other officials from Isokan LCDA; the Olufaki-in-Council; as well as friends and well-wishers.
