Music star, Davido gave what could best be described as ‘Birthday at Dawn’ to melt the heart of his mother in law as he declared an early morning and lavish celebrations Canouan Island with an adorable video of himself and his mother-in-law on vacation.

The Adelekes family were on their yearly vacation. This year was different as the famous family brought along Chioma’s mother.

In a clip making rounds on the internet, the singer was captured surprising his mother-in-law with a cake ahead of her birthday.

In the clip, Chioma’s mother, who was caught off guard, was seen smiling as Davido presented the cake to her, and the crowd sang her an early birthday song.

Last year, Chioma’s parents missed her white wedding to Davido, which was held in Atlanta, USA. According to reports, her parents’ visas were revoked, and a ban was placed on them after they stayed in the US for over a year with Chioma following their traditional wedding in 2023.

During her traditional wedding, a photo and video of Chioma’s mother had gone viral, which left many praising her over her beauty and for raising Chioma well.

While paying respect to Chioma’s parents, Davido had listed out his plans for his wife. He declared that it was a lifetime assurance for her as he promised to protect her, respect her and connect her.

Recall that in June, 2024, Davido shut down Lagos for his traditional wedding to Chioma. The wedding which many tagged Wedding of the Year had in attendance both Lagos and Osun State Governors, Ooni of Ife, billionaire businessmen, and many celebrities.
