Following Professor Joash Amupitan appointment as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, the announcement which was made by President Bola Tinubu and endorsed by the National Council of State several stories have since been circulating over his emergence.
The 58-year-old Senior Advocate of Nigeria takes over from Professor Mahmood Yakubu at a critical juncture for Nigeria’s electoral system, which faces significant public trust issues and demands for comprehensive reform.
