Engr. Dipo Bamisaye Donates ₦100 Million to EKSU Engineering Alumni Association, Seeks Royal Blessings

The atmosphere changed and the  entire university community was agog with excitement as Engr. Dipo Bamisaye donated the sum of one hundred million naira (₦100,000,000) to the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Engineering Alumni Association.

Bamisaye announced this generous donation as his contribution towards the foundation laying and fundraising for the proposed ultra-modern 5-in-1 lecture theatre.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Babatola J Ayodele. commended Engr. Dipo Bamisaye for his sustained commitment to infrastructural and developmental projects within the institution.

These include, but are not limited to, the construction of a 2-kilometre road linking the EKSU Alumni Village to the College of Medicine, the development of a 200-bed hostel accommodation for medical students, and the establishment of the EKSU FM radio station, which has further strengthened the accreditation of the Mass Communication programme. He also acknowledged Engr. Bamisaye’s continued support for indigent students.

In addition, the Vice-Chancellor, Engr Prof Gbenga Aribisala expressed pride in Engr. Bamisaye, noting that he had the privilege of mentoring him during his undergraduate years as his lecturer. He described the alumnus as a shining example of excellence and service to humanity.

However, in pursueance of his political ambition, Engr. Dipo Bamisaye paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba David Ateji, the Obanla of Ijesa Isu, where he humbly sought royal blessings and fatherly guidance.

During the visit, he also received heartfelt prayers and blessings from the Eyejero of Ijesa Isu, Chief Mrs. Alabi, who commended his commitment to community development and leadership aspirations.

The visit underscores Engr. Bamisaye’s deep respect for traditional institutions and his dedication to inclusive engagement with key stakeholders within the community.

This visit marks the formal commencement of his consultations and campaign activities toward contesting the Ekiti North Senatorial District seat.

Engr. Dipo Bamisaye is set to obtain his nomination form as soon as it becomes available at the National Party Secretariat. He encourages all supporters of progressive and developmental initiatives to align with and support this vision.
