Hifi Entertainment’s Family Mourns Mohbad

Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Hifi Entertainment, Prince Adebanjo Aladegbami aka Banjohifi has sent a condolence message to the family of late singer, Mohbad. In a letter which was issued through his media consultant; Mr. Adegboyega Johnson, the message reads:

On behalf of Hifi Entertainment crew, I would like to offer our sincere sympathies on the death of one of the best hands in Nigeria’s music industry, Mohbad who passed on, on Tuesday 12th, September in a controversial manner.

Mohbad was a highly talented and creative artiste. He was unofficially a member of Hifi Entertainment because since our paths crossed in 2016 he had remained not only a colleague in the entertainment industry but a brother who didn’t leave Hifi until I travelled to further my studies in Turkey.

Before this sudden death, he’s one of the artistes I have penned down for a music project which I’m planning for this year, it’s a pity that we’ll be giving him a one minute silence now.

I always knew he’d complete every project with efficiency and preciseness. Mohbad set an example that will continue to be an inspiration to the music industry.
Having struggled through thick and thin to attain the stardom, it’s a pity a promising artiste like Mohbad was cut short in his prime.

While it hurts to say goodbye to someone you love, I hope his wife, parents and his little son can take comfort knowing that Ilerioluwa is now with his heavenly father.

Hold Romans 10:9 close to your heart, which says, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Again, please accept our sincerest sympathy for this irreparable loss.

However Banjohifi, is billed to receive an award as OUTSTANDING AND INNOVATIVE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR at the forthcoming Prestige Excellence Award holding on 12th November at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island Lagos.
