Last year October 12, l was involved in an acident and my leg was badly affected up till now l haven’t been able to walk, before then our landlord had wanted us to move out of our apartment, on 26 of October 2025 our landlord gave us quit notice, before then my husband had been giving us attitude at home, he doesn’t even stay at home as such.

“The moment we were asked to leave, l called him and he came back home and he took all his belongings and he left me and our children at home. I started calling him to explain our accommodation issues, school fees of our children, feeding because l couldn’t walk with my legs, later he replied me and said l should go and borrow for now for us to get a new accommodation and to pay my children school fees.”

“Jamal became sick, his teachers started calling me from school telling me Jamal doesn’t concentrate in school he was always thinking and complaining about his mum’s situation at home. I don’t have a siblings, l am the only child my mum gave birth to and my father is late, so it’s been Jamal and my mother that has been taken care of me and his other siblings.
I went to Baruwa to borrow the money my husband asked me borrow for our accommodation, when l called him to inform he came back and he collected the money and he left and never came back.”
