Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has revealed a unique aspect of his dating life—he’s never asked a girl out and doesn’t know how to do it.
During a recent interview, Ogbonna shared that most of his romantic relationships have started as friendships.
“Funny enough, I’ve never toasted a girl in my life. It’s not about being a fine boy. I don’t know how to do it. I grew up around people; I had so many female friends at the same time,” he said.
Ogbonna emphasised that his relationships typically began with genuine friendships, where mutual liking eventually led to romance.
When asked if there were any exceptions, he playfully mentioned his ex-wife.
“Maybe my ex-wife. I’ll probably call that asking out because I was liking her picture, and then I was like ‘My wife’. I don’t know if that is regarded as asking her out,” he added.
