MC Oluomo’s Aide, Kokozaria Displays Public Support For New NURTW Chairman (Video)

This seems not to be the best time for MC Oluomo’s aide, Ganiyu Oyedepo who’s popularly known as Kokozaria as the embattled personal assistant is being dragged by many faithful of Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, (MC Oluomo) who is the former chairman, National Union Of Road Transport Workers, Lagos Chapter.
Kokozaria is being labelled a betrayer for pitching his tent with his former boss’ arch rival, Sego as he visited the newly installed NURTW chairman in Lagos recently.
Captioning the video, Kokozaria wrote, “That where I am today in My Chairman home AKA Sego AKA Agaungbade AKA Eko tun tun.” (sic)
For those who don’t know, MC Oluomo, agreed to step down as Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) a few weeks ago and handed over to Mustapha Sego.
Oluomo announced this decision after a meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other key stakeholders at Government House, Alausa, Ikeja.
He said that the decision and changes would take effect before the end of January 2024.
Governor Sanwo-Olu presided over the meeting, his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi ,Commissioner for Transportation, Sola Giwa, Special Adviser to the governor on Transportation, Commissioner of Police in Lagos and the Director of DSS in Lagos, Dapo Amao were also present at the meeting.
Others at the meeting were the current exco members of the union in the state.
The Lagos State chapter has been in crisis after some leaders of the union in the state passed a vote of no confidence on Oluomo few days after he was re-elected for a second term.
It was gathered that Oluomo decided to step down after mounting pressure from most of his powerful friends and influential figures in Lagos State.
