No Deputy Bursar Dies In LASU- PRO

 

Contrary to the widely spread news that a particular man, Mr. Johnson Ademola Adeshola who many reported to be the Deputy Bursar at Lagos State University (LASU) slumped and diied while on queue to withdraw money in one of the commercial banks in Lagos. The deceased we gathered was not in anyway the Deputy Bursar of the University as reported by many news portals.

According to Olaniyi Jeariogbe who is the Acting Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR), Lagos State University, ” Late Johnson Ademola Adeshola was never a Deputy Bursar in LASU, until his death, Adeshola was Chief Executive Officer (Accounts) ard the Faculty Finance Officer, Faculty of Law. He joined the service of LASU on 10th January 1986 as Typist II and rose to become the CEO (Accounts) in the Bursary Department of the University”.

Speaking with Metropolix Online, Jeariogbe said death is natural and inevitable but when it comes some people especially quack reporters usually report Malicious. They don’t apply the ethics of journalism which research and investigations.”
However, Johnson Ademola Adeshola who was born in 1959 joined the service of LASU in 1986 as a typist. Describing him, Jeriogbe said the deceased was an easy going and hardworking man who only devoted his time and attention to his duty till he died.
