Seyi Adekunle, also known as Seyi Vodi, is a Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and businessman. He is the founder and chairman of Vodi Group, a company known for its fashion and lifestyle brands. Seyi Vodi’s journey into fashion began after failing a bank job test, leading him to pursue his passion for tailoring and eventually establishing his own successful business.

Born in Lagos but hails from Osun State, Seyi Vodi earned a degree in Geology from the University of Maiduguri. During his NYSC in Akwa Ibom, he had many tailors as friends, and learned to sew, initially making shirts and boxers for his colleagues.

Seyi initially registered his company as Testimony Fabrics in 2001, later changing it to Vodi in 2003 to have a more African-sounding name. The company has grown to include Vodi Tailors, Vodi Debbo, Vodi Kleen, Vodi Shoes, and the Vodi Training Institute.

Seyi Vodi’s story is one of resilience and turning setbacks into opportunities. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality in his designs.

Seyi Vodi is married to Bunmi Alade-Adekunle and they have three children. They live in Abuja.

Seyi Vodi recently celebrated his 50th birthday and the 24th anniversary of the Vodi brand. He also opened a new, state-of-the-art fashion house in Abuja. Seyi also unveiled his 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
