That the accusation made by the factional leader of National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW), Azeez Ajibola popularly known as Istijabah is defamatory is an understatement. The NURTW, stalwart who has since been parading himself as an arch-rival to Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) has once again shot himself in the leg with his statement and accusation against MC Oluomo who is no doubt ‘his boss’ and the indefatigable Chairman of the union.

Just recently, his outpouring went viral after he appeared on a video accusing MC Oluomo of squandering the union’s money by gifting cars to numerous nollywood actresses.

Aisha Lawal, a prominent Nigerian actress was mentioned and this prompted a netizen who reacted and lambasted Istijabah for his statement.

“When I saw that NURTW man, Istijabah, hyperventilating over a car he gave to MC Oluomo—claiming it ended up with Aisha Lawal—I was beyond irritated.

Once you gift something, it’s no longer yours. Whatever the recipient does with it is none of your business. So why attempt to drag a woman who has been intentional about staying out of controversies?

As expected, the lunatics on TikTok gathered in their thousands, discrediting Aisha’s hard work and attributing her success to some man.

It’s the audacity for me—how some of you are so quick to tie a woman’s achievements to what’s between her legs. Your mothers and sisters are not the global standard of womanhood. Stop projecting your ignorance.

This morning, I saw Istijabah’s video claiming bloggers used the wrong picture. Really? You said, “Aisha that just opened a store in Ibadan.” Which other Aisha Lawal recently opened a store in Ibadan? Own your words! People who talk too much often talk themselves into trouble.

Then I watched Aisha Lawal’s interview with Biola Bayo. She was visibly hurt—more than words could express. Now she’s heading to court. That’s why Istijabah is suddenly scrambling to exonerate himself in a last-minute damage-control video.

Let’s not forget—Aisha Lawal is a thespian to the core, a professional who interprets her roles flawlessly. There’s practically no role she hasn’t executed to the satisfaction of her fans. She didn’t build that reputation overnight; she earned it with consistency, class, and hard work.

Too late. Aisha doesn’t want public apologies. You both should meet in court.

Because what you said was defamatory, demeaning, and a gross insult to her years of dedication and effort.

A day to her birth anniversary, she was worn out—psychologically, mentally, and emotionally—for something she never did.

You caused her harm.

Let’s all learn that defamation is not banter. Somebody must be made an example.

However, Nollywood actress, Aisha Lawal, denied claims that she received a Toyota Venza from National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) leader, Musiliyu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.

Describing the claim as false and defamatory, Lawal vowed to take legal action against the individual responsible for the allegations, declaring, “I’m going to court.”
Speaking during an appearance on the Talk To B podcast, the actress addressed the viral accusation, stating that she drives a Lexus GX 460 and has never received a car gift from MC Oluomo or anyone else. This entire situation, often referred to as the Aisha Lawal MC Oluomo Venza Allegation, has gained significant traction online.
