Though the exact location of the controversial billboard advert is still under investigation but it has gone viral on social media how a billboard sponsored by one of the leading mobile network service providers in Nigeria, GloMobile attacked its major competitor, MTN.

The message displayed on the Glo-sponsored billboard hinted at the recently intermittent network Coverage of MTN Nigeria.

Recall that for the past few days, internet service has been poor on the MTN network as the firm claimed its underwater cable was tampered with, disrupting service and resulting in poor experience by the users.

Not long ago, MTN service completely went off, with all users losing signal for hours making it impossible for millions of users to access the internet, make calls, or have a smooth experience with the smart mobile technology.

Although the network is back, it is still fluctuating, reason many people quickly link the billboard message sponsored by the GLO to the intermittent network coverage by the leading Telecommunication company in Nigeria, MTN.

The billboard message reads “When the world needed them most, they disappointed. We will always be there for you!”

Many people have berated the message claiming the two service providers are inseparable in flopping.
