Proverbs 18:21 says in the bible that; “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Your tongue is a spitting fire, it is powerful and the tongue can profess both the good and the bad. Though sometimes it is good to open up to people, it is also advisable that as matured human being we learn to keep our mouth shut about some certain things which are vital to our life and our progress. Not everyone who loves you, we have enemies who are not feeling well when someone becomes successful in life. Having said that, one can mention some of the things to keep private.

1. Your love life.

If you want to be successful in your love life, then restrain your tongue from speaking to anyone about it to just anybody out there. Learn how to hold things back from your friends in order not to pull down the marriage and inability to control your tongue.

2. Your dreams.

Dreams are part of what propels us in life and one has one way or the other of defining their dreams as well as the way they want to achieve such a task. If you want to be successful in life, practice conceiving the dream, nurture it, pray about it and implement it.

3. Your next move.

Talking about your next move is like exposing your king on the chessboard. The enemy will find a way to take advantage because not everyone who loves you. If you want to be successful in life, practice not to sharing your next move with everyone.

4. Your weaknesses.

Telling people your weakness and strength will make them find a very good idea on how to pull you down and trap you under their feet. If you want to be successful in life, then restrain your tongue from speaking to anyone about your weaknesses.
