While replying a curious fan on why she didn’t attend her colleague, Rita Dominic’s wedding, Mercy Johnson said she could not attend the colourful wedding because she was on a movie set.
Popular Nollywood Actress has disclosed the circumstances surrounding her inability to grace the traditional wedding ceremony of Rita Dominic.
Ace actress, Rita Dominic and her hubby, Fidelis Anosike held their traditional wedding on Tuesday, 19th April at Aboh, Mbaise in Imo state.
The glamorous occasion was graced by reality stars, actors, actresses, and even musicians who all embarked on a trip to Imo State just to be a part of Rita’s traditional marriage rites.
Surprisingly, Mercy Johnson and some of the movie star’s female colleagues were noticeably absent at the traditional ceremony.
A curious fan of the mother of four who wanted to know why she was absent at the event attended took to her Instagram page and wrote:
“I have gone through your page several times to see if it is not you, again since yesterday because I know you as one who is always genuinely happy with everyone, I was wondering since you didn’t go to Owerri, what happened to posting?”
Mercy Johnson while responding to the query from her fans explained that she could attend because she was on a movie set.
“Lol, I was on set, my heart is always with team happy…thank you loads” she replied.
