Peter Obi Is An Ingrate – Wike Explains How He Helped LP Candidate

A statement credited to Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Obi in an interview with pressmen in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, where he said;“in Rivers where you know the governor came out against me with everything, if the real votes of Rivers are counted, I won. I have over 50 per cent of the votes. The other two parties were sharing the others.”
Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike expressed dissatisfaction over Mr Obi’s statement.
Wike, described Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as not sincere and unappreciative of his support in time past by saying that he worked against his candidacy during the February 25th presidential election.
“I take exception to Peter Obi’s comments that I came out against him,” Mr Wike said.
“People are not being sincere, people are not appreciative. In 2019, ask Peter Obi, I was one of the people that chose Peter Obi to be vice presidential candidate to Atiku Abubakar.”
Mr Wike further said people like former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremandu, Ebonyi governor David Umahi and Puis Ayim fought him for supporting Mr Obi to be vice presidential candidate in 2019.
