Burna Boy Makes A Debut In Nollywood Thriller, ‘3 Cold Dishes’

Burna Boy is set to make his Nollywood film debut, by taking up the role of an executive producer in the upcoming thriller titled ‘3 Cold Dishes’.

The film will be produced by his production company Spaceship Films. while also with the likes of Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.

The film is the story of three teenagers sold as sex slaves but reunited after thirteen years to plot their revenge.

The release date of the film has not been announced yet. Burna Boy will also be making his first official film debut after dedicating all his career to music.

The film will feature AMVCA winner and star actor of ‘Breath of Life’ Wale Ojo and also include the likes of Osas Ighodaro, and Femi Jacobs, along with actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal.

In addition to his recent nominations at the 2024 BET awards he announced a recent remix of ‘Tshwala Bam.’

The Afrobeat singer would be going up against big names in the industry like Drake, Usher, and Chris Brown for the BET Awards.

Released on Wednesday, 15 May, the track quickly gained popularity, after amassing over 255,000 streams on its release day. The remix saw Burna Boy team up with South African artists TitoM, Yuppe, and S.N.E.

Burna Boy has also been nominated for “Best African Entertainer” at the 2024 “Ghana Entertainment Awards USA”
