During late Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola’s burial, her brother has publicly apologized to actress Iyabo Ojo over previous comments criticizing her for allegedly not supporting his late sister.

The apology came during a memorial service, where he personally approached Iyabo Ojo and begged for her forgiveness.

“I didn’t intend any disrespect in the viral video. Big mummy, please don’t be offended. I’m truly sorry,” he said.

In response, Iyabo Ojo warmly accepted the apology, embracing him and reassuring him that the matter was behind them. “O ti lo (it’s a thing of the past). I have forgiven you,” she said.

The conflict initially arose when Allwell Ademola’s brother accused Iyabo Ojo, among other celebrities, of not offering support to his sister while she was alive.

Iyabo Ojo, however, had previously defended herself, stating that she had indeed supported Allwell by appearing in her movies multiple times for free, demonstrating her backing in practical ways.

The reconciliation at the memorial service brought relief and closure to what had been a tense situation in the Nollywood community, highlighting the importance of dialogue and understanding in resolving personal disputes.

The public apology and Iyabo Ojo’s gracious acceptance were widely noted as a positive moment amid the grief over Allwell Ademola’s passing.

Allwell Ademola’s funeral events have continued to draw attention, with various actors attending services to honor the late actress.

Her brother’s public gesture shows a move toward healing and the mending of relationships in the wake of loss, emphasizing respect, humility, and forgiveness within the entertainment community.
