Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, joined real estate investor and philanthropist Mansa on a goodwill visit to the Makoko waterfront community in Lagos on Monday, August 17, 2026.
During the outreach, the duo distributed food items and provided meals to residents, with reports indicating that more than 400 people were fed. Mansa is also reported to have spent about ₦5 million on the food supplies.
The visit also included scholarship support for children in the community, although the exact number of beneficiaries has not been officially confirmed.
Videos circulating online showed Mansa and Peller moving through the waterfront settlement as large crowds gathered to welcome them. Some reports claimed that more than 2,000 people turned out to witness the event.
The outreach comes shortly after Mansa reportedly gifted Peller a ₦300 million Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, further drawing attention to their relationship and public activities.
Peller actively participated in the food distribution and interacted with residents throughout the visit, while Mansa was praised online for supporting people in an underserved community.
The initiative has been widely welcomed by residents and social media users, with many describing the outreach as a positive gesture towards the Makoko community, which continues to face challenges including poverty and limited infrastructure.
Further details regarding the scholarship beneficiaries and any planned follow-up programmes are yet to be officially announced.
