Bishop Sanya Ojo Honoured At The Compatriots Excellence Award

The General Overseer of Veno Prayers Center, Bishop Sanya Ojo was on Thursday honoured at the prestigious The Compatriots Excellence Award.

The man of God who came amid pomp and pageantry was accompanied by associates most of who are church executives.

Top government officials, security chiefs, corporate executives, clergy, media professionals and community leaders were also honoured at the event which was held at NERDC Conference Centre, Agidimgbi Lagos.

While receiving his award as Resourceful Clergyman of The Year, Bishop Sanya Ojo who is popularly known as Anjonu Eledumare thanked everyone present at the event, he offered a special prayer session for another awardee, CP Saidat Ismail who came with her entourage.

“It’s my pleasure to be here today and to be part of this great occasion. Apart from receiving an award today, I’m also a practitioner in the media industry. I put in more than 20 years of my life in active jounalism. But when the call came from God that I should move to the vineyard, who am I to disobey God’s order. The rest is now history as the ministry never stopped growing and God been using me in the lives of many people. Yet I never abandoned journalism for once, our e-publication comes out every week and responses are overwhelming.”

Bishop Ojo also thanked the organisers of the event, the publisher of The Compatriots, Mr. Joshua Uloko for deeming it fit to honour him.
