Access Holdings Chairman, Bababode Osunkoya Is Dead

Bababode Osunkoya, the Chairman of Access Holdings Plc’s Board of Directors, has died.

Osunkoya died on Tuesday after a brief illness, according to a statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday night.

“Consequent upon the tragic event, the company now has a nine-member board comprising of six non-executive directors (two of whom are independent) and three executive Directors inclusive of the group chief executive officer”, a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Sunday Ekwochi read.

The financial organization indicated that Osunkoya’s successor would be announced later by the board.
