Celebrity fashion designer behind House of Luminee, Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, has revealed why she kept her marriage to Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, who is better known as Baba Ijesha out of the spotlight.
Following the arrival of their newborn son, King Kagar Omiyinka, their first child together after 12 years, Tokunbo shared a throwback photo documenting their journey. Acknowledging that they have faced tough times, she emphasized that discretion has been her anchor.
”Oju ri! [We’ve seen days!] But Mercy speaks. This is the right time to fly together. Privacy is peace to me,” she shared.
Baba Ijesha also celebrated the news, praising his wife as his “strong Jagaban.” While the public is just learning the depth of their long-term timeline, Tokunbo, a Lagos State University graduate who launched her luxury empire in 2013—makes it clear that keeping her personal life quiet was the key to protecting her peace.
