The Anambra State government has reportedly marked the church of controversial and unconventional Prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, widely known as Odumeje, for demolition.
The church, Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry World Miracle Center, alias Land of Freedom, is located at number 88B Bida Road, Fegge, Onitsha.
The state government marked the church structure as an illegal structure, and asked that it be removed.

It is reported that the structure is sitting on a huge canal which renders it an illegal building in line with Soludo’s plan to demolish over 200 buildings in Onitsha blocking the drainage inking the River Niger.
Odumeje , known for his unconventional style of preaching during church service, is a widely known cleric based in the Anambra commercial capital.
Though he is adored by his followers, many see his manner of preaching as ‘unchrist-like’.
Apart from that, the self acclaimed Indabosky, has been accused severally of many irregularities one of which is fake miracles. It was alleged that he has his own people who act as miracle seekers and later display themselves as being afflicted with one ailments or the other. This according to the source is ‘just to attract new members into the church.’
Another source hinted Metropolix Online that the practice of paying N4,000 before seeing the prophet is not christian like.
“New comers are always mandated to pay N4,000 before they could see Odumeje, anybody without the compulsory fee would either be ignored or asked to go and look for the money. This department is being handled by the Odumeje’s cousin and once you don’t provide the money, forget about seeing the pastor for that day.” The source divulged.
As at the time of filing this report, it remains unclear whether the government would carry out the demolition order or not as we gathered that Odumeje has been contacting the high and mighty to talk to Governor Soludo.
