Juju/highlife music maestro, K-Melody is presently cooking something. Not an edible meal as you might think but a very audible song for nobody but the popular ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (OBO) David Adeleke.
In few days time, the track that is solely dedicated to Davido who will be celebrating his birthday come November 21st will hit airwaves before the day.
Speaking with Metropolix Online, K-Melody said he really appreciate the magnanimity and generosity of the hip-hop singer, Davido.
“If we have 10 of Davido in Nigeria entertainment industry, many people’s lives might have improved. This is an artiste that makes his money and yet he spends it mostly on humanity.
“I know many celebrities that can’t do half of what this guy has done yet we praise sing them every now and then. I just took it upon myself to appreciate his philanthropic gestures to all and sundry, the reason for the song.”
However, as K-melody is preparing to release a complete album, Mr. Secular as he’s fondly called is also planning to serenade his media friends and fans in an exclusive show.
“This is in appreciation of my media friends and supporters. They should not be left out. Preparation is in top gear to host journalists who have been supporting us over the years. Though no date has been picked for this gig but it’s coming before the year runs out.” K-Melody explained.
